Abstract
Listening is an important skill for learning English, but many students find it difficult, especially when they do not use English every day. This study looks at how BBC Podcasts can help improve listening skills for eleventh-grade students at SMK Ma’arif 5 Gombong. This study uses a simple method by observing classes, interviewing students and the teacher, and collecting documents. The podcast uses once a week and connect to the lesson topics. The results show that most students enjoy using the podcast. They say it helps them learn new words, understand spoken English better, and make learning more interesting. Some problems are also found, like the British accent, difficult words, and technical issues. Even with these challenges, many students feel more excited and active in class. In conclusion, BBC Podcasts are helpful for improving listening skills and can be a good tool in English classes.
