Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the natural fact of the ex-worker experiences as a waiter of American Restaurant in learning English. This study used qualitative data. The subject of this study was Agus Susanto who the ex-worker of American Restaurant. The writer used interview and documentation to collect the data, while to analyze the data the writer used Spradley model analysis such as domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, components analysis, theme analysis, and trustworthiness. This study concerned to connect the data from the sense of Second Language Acquisition (SLA). The result of the study described the ex-worker experiences in learning English during his work at the restaurant. He spontaneously learnt English with the environment, he met the native target language there. He proved that when he learnt English in the natural context or in informal setting was more success in learning second language. Besides, the several factors such as age, aptitude, attitude, motivation, learning style, and learning strategies influenced him in his learning outcomes.
