Abstract
The background of this study lies in the importance of listening skills as a core component of English language learning, which remains a challenge for Indonesian students due to limited exposure to authentic input. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of combining podcasts and vodcasts in the listening learning process (Listening Team Learning Model) in class X at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang and to identify the obstacles faced by teachers and students in using podcasts and vodcasts as learning media. A qualitative approach is used, employing observation, learning observation, and interview techniques to collect data. The findings show that students have higher motivation, improve listening comprehension, and greater engagement during lessons. Although vodcasts are preferred over podcasts, both media enriched students' learning with varied listening input. Although there are some challenges, particularly related to speaking speed, the overall results indicate that podcasts and vodcasts are effective tools for improving the listening skills of 10th grade students at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang.
